The National Investigation Agency Act
1Short title, extent and application
(1) This Act may be called the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008.
(2) It extends to the whole of India and it applies also--
(a) to citizens of India outside India;
(b) to persons in the service of the Government wherever they may be; 1***
(c) to persons on ships and aircrafts registered in India wherever they may be 2[and].
2[(d) to persons who commit a Scheduled Offence beyond India against the Indian citizens or affecting the interest of India.]
