33Transfer of services of certain employees of the North-Eastern Hill University

(1) Every person who, immediately before the commencement of this Act, is holding or discharging the duties of any post or office in connection with the affairs of the North-Eastern Hill University in any area which on that date falls within the State of Mizoram shall be deemed to have been transferred to the services of the Mizoram University on the same terms and conditions and to the same rights and privileges as to pension, gratuity, provident fund and other matters as he would have been had under the North-Eastern Hill University Act, 1973 (24 of 1973).

(2) Any dispute between a person referred to in sub-section (1) and the University shall, at the request of such, person, be referred to a Tribunal of Arbitration and the provisions of sub-sections (2),(3),(4) and (5) of section 34 shall, as far as may be, apply to a reference made under this sub-section.
