14Power to apply the provisions of the Act to other persons in the service of the Government
1[(1)] 2[As respects the State Public Services, the State Government, and in other cases, the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that all or any of the provisions of this Act shall apply to any other class of persons in the service of Government specified in such notification in the same, manner as they apply to Indian soldiers,
3[(2) Where, under this section, the State Government has directed that all or any of the provisions of this Act shall apply to any class of persons in the service of Government, the powers vested in the Central Government by section 3 and section 13 shall be exercised in respect of that class of persons by the State Government.]
