1[33M. Cognizance of offences.--(1) No prosecution under this Chapter shall be instituted
except by an Inspector 2[with the previous sanction of the authority specified under
sub-section (4) of section 33G].
(2) No Court inferior to that 3[of a Metropolitan Magistrate or of a Judicial Magistrate
of the first class] shall try an offence punishable under this Chapter.]
