140AApplication of section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958
1[140A. Application of section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958.--(1) Nothing contained in section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (5 of 1898), or in the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958), shall apply to a person convicted of an offence under this Act unless that person is under eighteen years of age.
(2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (3) of section 135.]
