44Presiding Officers and employees of the Tribunals, etc., to be public servants
1 [44. Officers of Highways Administration to be public servant.--The officer or officers constituting the Highways Administration and any other officer authorised by such Administration under this Act, shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).]
