1Extent
1[1. Extent.--This Act extends in the first instance 2[to the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in the States] of Bombay, Saurashtra and Kutch, but the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, extend it to any other State 3[or part of a State] which has a sea-coast.]
