23Administration of Factories Act, 1948.

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948), the authority to administer the said Act and to do all things for the enforcement of its provisions, including the appointment of inspecting staff and the making of rules thereunder, shall vest in the Central Government in relation to any factory owned by the Central Government ¹[or any authority or corporation established by it or a Government company] and engaged in carrying out the purposes of this Act.
