The Army and Air Force (Disposal of Private Property) Act
1Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Army and Air Force (Disposal of Private Property) Act, 1950.
(2) It extends to the whole of India, and applies to citizens of India and persons subject to the Army Act, 1950 (46 of 1950), or the Air Force Act, 1950 (45 of 1950), wherever they may be.
(3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
